For those of you that don’t know, the Jack Daniel Distillery will be releasing a new series of bottles later this year. It will be known as the Master Distiller Series and an image of what the 1st bottle and box in the series will look like was recently released. Jack Daniel’s is finally getting close to officially unveiling their new Master Distiller’s Collection. This collection will be made up of 7 bottles in the series with a new bottle being released approximately once per year. The series will start by honoring Jack Daniel, the 1st Master Distiller, and continue through Jeff Arnett, the 7th and current Master Distiller. As soon as I’m able to get a picture of the first bottle in this series I will upload it to the site.
December1st
This commercial is scheduled to make its debut today in several countries worldwide and shows the 1st annual Christmas Barrel Tree being lit up in Lynchburg, TN. This Barrel Tree was constructed with the barrels used to fill the new Holiday Select bottle. The Tag Line that Jack Daniel’s is using this Holiday Season is “It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, it’s who’s around it.” Very cool commercial…check it out!

The extremely limited Jack Daniel’s Holiday Select Bottle is showing up at liquor stores in select states now! Get it soon because they are selling fast!!! The bottle looks great and it comes with a sturdy collectable box as shown in the picture below. Just wanted to make sure I posted this picture for everyone to see! Jack Daniel’s recently announced the upcoming release of their 1st Annual Holiday Select Bottle. This bottle will be filled with 100 proof whiskey taken from 187 barrels used to make the Jack Daniel’s Christmas display for 2011. This is being marketed as the first bottle in a new limited edition series so get your bottle while it’s available because these will sell fast. Unfortunately they will only be available in certain states and obviously very limited. Look for them to arrive in liquor stores soon!

Today was Jack Daniel’s 23rd Annual World Championship Invitational Barbecue. It was a beautiful day in Lynchburg today where approximately 30,000 people came out for the festivities. The Distillery was staying busy selling bottles from the White Rabbit Bottle Shop, etching bottles all day long, and hosting the Tennessee Squires with some gifts and entertainment. Definitely a great day for Jack Daniel’s collectors and fans from all around the world!!!

It was 100 years ago yesterday (October 9, 1911) that Jack Daniel passed away. At the time of his death, he was no longer involved in day to day operations of the Distillery as he had been in declining health for several years prior. Lem Motlow and Richard Daniel then became the official owners of the Distillery.

I’m happy to announce that a new bottle was finally made available at the Distillery a few weeks ago. No signing or big event was held for the introduction of this bottle as it’s one in a series dating back to 2006, but the Ducks Unlimited bottle for 2011 is finally available on the Distillery grounds at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop. While the 2011 Ducks Unlimited bottle was initially released in select States towards the end of Summer in a commemorative tin, those bottles did not have the sought after leg band that is only available with the bottle sold at the Distillery. The current Ducks Unlimited bottles are usually available year round in the White Rabbit Bottle Shop so you’ll have plenty of time until the 2012 bottle is released to pick one up. It’s a great addition to the collection!
